Stealing Blue edition by DP Denman Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Boy oh boy I have enjoyed this journey with Brady and Blue. I remember loving the first book, missed the second, but then got right back into the groove with the third. This fourth installment (not sure if it's the last) was the most angst I have read in a long time. To fully appreciate where Brady and Blue are coming from, it would be best to read at least the first book. D.P Denman does a nice job at explaining who everybody is, as well as the past in Stealing Blue, however for the full effect, start from the beginning.

Brady and Blue have finally found a nice rhythm. With the drama from Blue's past and Brady's brother finally settling down, they can focus more on themselves and the new chapter in thier lives. A semi-retired Brady and new music producer Blue could never in a million years see what was ahead for them.

Blue was young when Brady took him in and nursed him back to health. Really, Brady is all Blue knows and has been happy that way for years. Brady's way. Now that he's doing his own thing, with his own clients, this new side emerging from Brady is something Blue hasn't dealt with before.

Brady has never been the "needy" guy. They bossy guy, yes. The guy that gives Blue everything he wants mentally, yes. Needy and Brady never went hand in hand until now and I didn't like this Brady one bit. They were a strong couple that he was determined to throw away on a whim it seemed.

Blue was just as surprised at this side of Brady and had no idea what to do to settle his insecurities. For the first half of the book I absolutely loved the way things were going. So many changes for Brady and Blue, feelings to work out and truths to tell. The back and forth was excruciating, in a good way. Then, it all went to he!! in a handbasket and I was getting ready to hunt D.P Denman down as she took my boys in a direction I didn't appreciate at all.

"His career was on the edge of something spectacular, his love life in pieces at the bottom of a cliff."

Things went from bad to worse with Brady and Blue and I kept watching the percentage on my , hoping there wasn't a cliffy ahead. Luckily there wasn't, however the ending wasn't my favorite either. Such a dramatic build up for that ending. It was too quick for me. After all the drama I waded through with Brady and Blue, I was ready to climb back with them as well. I was left disappointed instead.

"It's never easy to let go of the past...but sometimes that's the only way to move forward."

The book is well written with Blue and Brady getting thier say. It is angst from beginning to end and the good kind. A great addition to the series.

Oh man! I have loved Blue and Brady and their journey together so very much and have to admit I was a little nervous about this book. And yeah, emotionally this one put me through the wringer and pretty much kept me there until the end! I would definitely recommend that these books be read in order, they are not standalones.

Brady and Blue have been through and dealt with so much together over the years, but they still have their issues, and when a young hot shot musician shows up it just makes all those issues come to the surface. Blue’s career is taking off and this is a big chance for him but his client is a big flirt and wants Blue. This is a whole new challenge for Blue. At the same time Brady is struggling as well, and this just sends his jealousy through the roof.

I understood what happened with Brady and Blue and their issues, but I have to admit this story was a little hard for me. I’ve become so attached to these two and this part of their journey made my heart hurt! It’s not to say this wasn’t a good read, it was, just much more angsty and heartbreaking. I was frustrated with many of the choices these two made and spent a good amount of this story wanting to throw something! I had to know what was going to happen though, I couldn’t put it down. For as much as I felt as broken as Blue and Brady during most of this story, I loved the end and the way it all came together even if it did happen quickly.

This story had real struggles and raw emotions and while it may not have been my favorite part of Brady and Blue’s relationship, I understood it’s a part of their journey. I don’t know if this is the end of this series, I sure hope that it’s not, but I ended this book with a smile and sigh of relief. Stealing Blue was a powerful and emotional story for Blue and Brady!

Let me start by saying that for you to understand everything between Blue and Brady, I recommend that you read the first book in the series. You won't be sorry I promise.

A love triangle that will pull at every emotion you have.

This is the forth book and I loved it just like the rest. Blue has overcome so much in his life to be where he is today. He has a job that he loves. A man he loves and gets to come home to every night. His friends help him in ways they may never know. Blue has everything he has ever needed but life has a way of turning upside down and Blue isn't sure how to handle it. Things between Brady and Blue get so intense, so raw that it flows off the pages. Every heart string I have was pulled in every direction , I didn't know which way was up. The things these two had to go through seriously broke my head and heart. The bouncing back and forth. The hurt the had to go through. Be prepared your going to need tissues. Your going to want to pull your hair out at some parts, but it's so worth it in the end. I couldn't stop reading. I mean this was a love that should have never been tested, yet it was. Sometimes I wanted to punch both of them and yell "What the hell are you doing?" It was intense and angst at its best and so worth it to the end. You will not be disappointed.
Love, love, love this! My heart literally clenched every time Blue stepped away. Not sure if readers are supposed to feel for Blue, but I was angry with him. Brady may have made an error in judgement, but Blue was wrong, many times. No spoilers, just read it!
