I could have read the entire book in one sitting but had to force myself to put it down so I could savior every delicious bit of it. Lily weaves you through scrumptious and somewhat scandalous tales of dating in and around Paris. The city of love!?! One minute you think she may give up on le grand amour and then “ding” another alluring message from another possible suitor pops in here box. As she weaves her tales Lily invites you to her table of friends to share in an apero and muse about her adventures. Like the first book I couldn't wait to have a moment to read the adventures of Lily la tigresse! How cool is to read a book about love, dates, hopes and yet sometimes disappointments that it's not like an unrealistic fairytale. Through her story Lily reminded me that being openminded and optimistic is always a good way to live your life and I thank her for that! Can't wait book number 3 to see if she finds her soulmate <3
Once again, Lily writes about the romantic adventures that we assume every young woman in Paris must be having...but which most of us can only daydream about from our more mundane lives. But after the wild enjoyment of the bad boys in the first book, this one shows how our pretty antagonist has finally grown weary of games and ephemeral adventures, and now looks for true love. Of course some of the ghosts of relationships past rear their charming heads. Does she resist? Maybe. ;-)
It's quite a rollercoaster that I was happy to read about from the safety of my sofa! If you're looking for a sort of Parisian-style Bridget Jones, you'll love "Je t'Aime...Maybe?"

As a summer resident of Paris every year, what fun to read the love adventures of this talented writer. It's so refreshing to read a book that's not the usual " I moved to Paris and now I'm wearing Dior every day kind of book. Instead you are treated word by word to the delicious and very real rompings of a delightful and smart young woman carving out a life in Paris. Her stories are page turners-I couldn't wait to see what happened with such and such many times with a smile on my face or a satisfying o.m.g!
Highly entertaining and nothing like this in a market filled with overly glossy and too "Tinseltown" kind of books on a life in Paris.
A little disclaimer Lily is my friend and I have helped her with proofreading her books. However, the reason I did it for her is because I love her writing and her adventures! Fictionalized, of course, to protect the innocent and the not-so-innocent. Here's an example of how things go for Lily in her pursuit of romance in the City of Light "What do a wild boar, fine dining, Russian vodka, and Hugo Boss have in common? I was about to find out!" And so are we, her readers, as Lily negotiates the good, the bad, and the ugly in the dating world of a 30-something singleton in Paris. If you like Bridget Jones, Sex and the City, romance with plenty of debacles and humor, and imagining you are experiencing all of this in the fantastic city of Paris, France, you will enjoy this book by April Lily Heise.
Another great book written by Lily! The book kept me intrigued right to the end and I can't wait for book number 3!! Amazing job and well worth the read!
For those already familiar with Lily's dating trials and tribulations from her first book, "Je T'aime Me Neither", you will enjoy the follow-up. She's learned some lessons, but the fun continues fueled by a little wine and a lot of Paris. Who is Mr. Maybe?? Lily will keep you guessing until the end!
I loved Lily's first book, Je T'Aime Me Neither, and was thrilled to hear that a second book had been released. I was even more enthralled by Lily la Tigresse's new adventures. She hooks readers from the start and we are dying to know what could possibly happen next! The tone is funny, sassy and takes readers to a different real Paris....and it's real prince charmings...not always all that charming, but always surprising and hilarious. I didn't want the stories to end,but I was rooting for Lily until the very end. A great entertaining book!
