The author was absolutely right in his disclaimer at the beginning of the book. Some people didn't love the books so much because it felt like it ended just when it was about to truly explain the characters and show their true path together. I was one of those people. The disclaimer stated that this (and some later parts that will hopefully be coming) were some deleted scenes but they weren't sunshine and rainbows and will show the reality of their relationship. This made me very nervous. What was highlighted, however, was absolutely wonderful. It showed them struggling to get to a comfortable and happy place. It showed them learning about the other. It did show real struggles, but it also showed absolute love between them.Product details

I could not get enough of these two. Both of them had a lot to learn. They knew they loved each other but neither of them had been taught HOW to live. I have read all three of this series. This is the first time I have read anything by this author but he is definitely on my favorites list now.
Interesting relationship and characters
I really liked the book and wondered how they got to the great relationship 5hat was discussed at the end. Can't wait for more of these short stories in their life together!
Ethan and Nathan are a hot, but broken pair. Hot sex holds them together while they try to figure out how to be happy. A fun read. Stephen Happa is a skillful story teller with a deliciously smutty side.
This is really so good! Thing take on a different slant in their relationship. Some disappointments I hope they can recover. This was a deeply emotional story about Nate and Ethan. I do know how they met since I had read the first book and this is the struggle of them trying to understand each other, especially after the death of Ethan's father. What they are going through is well depicted and I understand what Nate is going through while feeling like he's being shut out emotionally by Ethan and at the same time Ethan is becoming lost within himself. The story is eloquently written and I did enjoy it overall. )
This is a very interesting yet unusual book to read but I enjoyed read this short story. The story covers the journey and growing relationship of two gay men, Nathan and Ethan. What you will find in this story, drama, death of a father, feeling helpless to help, emotions, failing exams, puppies, a therapist, Nathan's father, visiting, starting a non-profit, wants Ethan to run it, lust, desires, emotional feelings and erotic scenes. Although this is a quick read, it is well written and the characters have emotions according to the situation they are in. I would recommend this book.
